More About Jane

As early as age four, Jane knew she felt safer with animals than with humans. How could she not after seeing the heads chopped off of her dear feathered friends she and her mother rescued months before when they were mere chicks drowning in the cold rain?

Also at age four, Jane also saw she could get her feelings and thoughts across to her bay horse companion better than to her human counterparts. When the mare gently tossed Jane’s older sisters off her back whenever Jane complained to her about their acting mean, Jane knew for certain she and the mare were best friends.

By age five, Jane conquered her dread of spiders by saving their lives. Many daddy long legs stopped short in their tracks at her command, making it easy for her to coax them into jars and toss them outside before her father under the orders of her terrified sisters, could crush them.

Twenty-seven years ago, with a cold slice of ham in hand, Jane had the sudden chill of realization that the texture of ham felt the same as the flesh of a human cadaver, hence, she immediately declared herself a practicing non-cannibal. Turned out her new meatless diet soon saved her from surgery due to the mysterious disappearance of a ‘dis-ease’ in her body.

Also twenty-seven years ago, while in deep meditation, Jane suddenly found herself on the ceiling looking down at a helpless and vulnerable animal. Her heart went out to the creature below, prompting her to leave her heightened awareness to return at the speed of light to love and protect her animal body.

Soon after her out-of-body experience, Jane began to witness during rare moments of bliss, people performing on stage or having a heart-to-heart talk with her would seem to dissolve into light and return in full form, seconds later. Years later, she read about String Theory and how matter is energy, thus confirming for those who would believe her and for those who had similar experiences, our ability to see the illusion of form dissolve into its true energy state of what feels like love to her and others.

During her years on Madison Avenue as a copywriting exec, Jane could not stop herself from dumbfounding clients at lunch about the arrogance of humanity to think of itself as a superior species based on human concepts of intelligence.

And so due to her utter failure to duck tape her mouth from speaking her truth, Jane was confirmed as, ‘strange’. She buried her head in Scientific American, her ‘readers’ digest’ version of science.

Jane grew even stranger to her advertising cohorts when she enrolled in school after hours during the eighties to study the healing effects of music, sound and color, Polarity energy work, hypnosis, counseling, channeling, and a few of the alternative methods the AMA is now lobbying to capitalize on.

Lucky for Jane and many like herself, mainstream society is waking up as the truth behind the illusions we have created for ourselves is gradually being discovered in science.

After being certified as an alternative healer and counselor, Jane quit working fulltime advertising to develop her practice which included counseling through channeling as a medium.

During a channeling session, the conscious energy or souls of her client’s three deceased animals surprisingly, yet matter-of-factly, spoke through Jane confirming the unique idiosyncrasies each had while living as dogs with him. Concerned about changing her ‘strange’ status to ‘completely weird’, Jane stayed in the closet with this one.

Her passion for animals combined with the excruciating pain in witnessing the heinous treatment of animals in our country and all over the world, overwhelmed Jane to the extent she had to finally speak out for them. She had to completely come out of the closet with her obsession.

And so she did.

She first founded Talks With PetsTM, her method of opening up dialogues between people and their pets for the purpose of creating healthier relationships for them; a small step, but a good start for people to first experience the depth of their animals’ inner being as something above and beyond their cute exteriors. After they witnessed the unique intelligence and wisdom of their pets, Jane felt people would eventually open their hearts to all animals, including the ones who end up on their plate.

Talks With PetsTM evolved into Animal Self EmpowermentTM. For Jane, the process of empowering our animals by allowing them their true passion, can also reconnect us with our own true nature...the repressed, animal self in us which is an experience of deep awareness and respect...the place where we commune with animals on an equal and inspiring level. It is Jane’s belief that only when we go deep beneath the surfaces of our mind into the empowered state of knowing we are all connected beyond the superficial separation of species, can we have the breadth of compassion to ultimately save ourselves from extinction.
